When Printing is Available

You'll see printer options when: You're taking orders, doing business catering, or have table service
Where to set it up: Tap your profile photo → Manage Printers
Works on: Phones, tablets, and computers (with some differences in features)

Types of Receipt Printers

Kitchen Receipt Printer

What it prints: Complete order details with everything your kitchen needs
What's included: All food items, customer info, special requests, allergies
Best for: Kitchen staff to prepare orders and track what needs to be made

Preparation List Printer

What it prints: Simple list focused on what needs to be cooked
What's included: Just the items to prepare, quantities, and cooking instructions
Best for: Streamlined kitchen workflow when you want less detail

Finding and Connecting Your Printer

Automatic search: Gustaio Studio automatically looks for printers on your network
Manual setup: If your printer doesn't appear, you can enter its network address manually
Default connection: Most receipt printers use port 9100
Test before saving: Always send a test print to make sure everything works before finishing setup

Customizing How Your Receipts Look

Making Text Bigger or Smaller

Menu item text size: Choose Normal or Big text for food items
Address text size: Make customer addresses easier to read with Normal or Big text

Styling Food Extras and Modifications

Normal style: Standard black text for extras (like "Extra cheese")
Reverse style: White text on black background (looks like buttons in the app)

Adding Your Branding

Gustaio Studio logo: You can include or remove the Gustaio Studio logo from your receipts
Professional look: Logos make receipts look more polished

Legal Protection

Price disclaimer: Shows a note that prices might change between ordering and pickup
Why it helps: Protects your restaurant if you need to adjust prices

Showing Ingredients

Purpose: Always print ingredients for unmodified items
Note: Modified items show ingredients regardless of setting
