Workbite

Workbite is Gustaio's B2B catering platform that connects corporate companies with restaurant partners. Employees order meals through the Gustaio Client app, while restaurant owners manage, track, and report on orders through Gustaio Studio.

What is Workbite?

Workbite enables businesses to offer subsidized meals to their employees through your restaurant. Companies register, connect to your restaurant, and their employees can then order meals for specific time slots — perfect for corporate lunches, office catering, and canteen services.

How Workbite Works

The Ecosystem

| Role | Platform | Responsibilities | |---|---|---| | Employee | Gustaio Client App | Browse menus, place orders, view order history | | Supervisor | Gustaio Client App | Order on behalf of employees, view reports | | Restaurant | Gustaio Studio | Manage orders, generate reports, configure menus |

Order Flow

  1. Employee opens the Gustaio app and selects their company
  2. Employee browses the available daily menu for their time slot
  3. Employee places an order (with optional supervisor approval)
  4. Restaurant receives the order in Gustaio Studio
  5. Kitchen prepares the order based on the time slot
  6. Employee picks up or receives their meal

Company Account Management

Where to do it: Gustaio Studio → Workbite → Company Accounts

Access Requests

Companies connect to your restaurant through an access request workflow:

  1. Company sends a connection request
  2. You review and accept (or decline) the request
  3. Once connected, the company's employees can order from your menu

Company Settings

For each connected company, you can configure:

  • Order Types: Delivery, pickup, dine-in, on-site, or custom types (e.g., "Mensa A", "Lift B")
  • Order Deadlines: Latest time employees can order (e.g., "Order by 14:00 for next day")
  • Delivery Address: Where to deliver company orders
  • Email Notifications: Automatic order confirmations and summaries to company contacts

Menu Scheduling

Where to do it: Gustaio Studio → Workbite → Setup

Configure which menu items are available for Workbite orders:

  • Calendar View: Plan menus for specific dates
  • Time Slots: Define when meals are available (e.g., 11:30, 12:00, 12:30)

  • Offer variety across the week
  • Keep popular items available consistently
  • Use time slots that match your kitchen capacity

Order Deadlines

  • Set deadlines early enough for kitchen planning (recommended: day before, 14:00)
  • Communicate deadlines clearly to company contacts
  • Consider same-day orders only if kitchen capacity allows

Communication

  • Set up email notifications for company managers
  • Send weekly menu previews to boost orders
  • Keep companies informed about menu changes or holidays
